Meet Dr Ddamulira

Dr William Ddamulira is a General Surgeon who practices at the Mitchells Plain Medical Centre.

He attended the prestigious Makerere University in Uganda, where he received his medical degree in 1992.

He then moved to South Africa to complete a Surgical Fellowship in 2003, before opening his independent surgical practice.

Dr William Ddamulira runs a patient oriented practice and aims to assist his patients in any way he can. He accepts all medical aid scheme, including the lower options, such as Discovery KeyCare, Samwumed, Carecross, Golden Arrow, etc.

Dr Ddamulira adopted an informative approach to medical care and enjoys educating his clients on the conditions they present with, while explaining various treatment options and the risks associated with each.

He has a special interest in conditions related to the following:

He is also able to perform various technically demanding procedures, such as laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic surgery and open surgeries.
